Easy to put on, but only functions with certain brands of ammo. Better buy is an adjustable plug. Dont really need the special tool for holding the gas tube and the barrel bracket in place when inst alling. Just good padding in a vise would do the job. If you are reloading the 30-06 round, don't bother with this plug.
