Cura nozzle size shell thickness
WebDec 24, 2024 · The nozzle diameter is 0.5mm, not one of the standard 4 sizes included with the Nozzle Kit (0.25, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8). I am unable to locate where in Cura I can manually enter the nozzle diameter, as I can only find the standard 4 sizes in a drop-down. I've gone into Preferences -> Configure Cura -> Settings -> Settings Visibility. WebOct 6, 2024 · It’s highly recommended to set a Wall Thickness that is a multiple of your nozzle diameter. You can make a 0.8mm shell, or a 1.2mm shell with a 0.4mm extrusion. By telling Cura to make a 1.0 shell with a 0.4 nozzle, you are giving it an impossible task.
